A Focus on Excellence
Our focus at University Christian School is to prepare students to fulfill God’s calling on their life. We believe God has equipped each student with unique gifts and talents meant to be used to serve Him. We strive to assist our students in the pursuit of honoring Christ by fully utilizing their talents with excellence.
A Championship Environment
University Christian School maintains a rich tradition and a championship environment. Throughout our fifty year history, we have produced graduates who are tops in their field and continue to impact the word for Christ. Our students maintain standardized test scores consistently above the national and state averages. Our seventeen athletic teams also enjoy championship level success with a total of seventy-six District Championships and thirteen State Championships. UCS continues to be Jacksonville's leader in Christian education and seeks to honor Christ through academics and athletics.
A Biblical Perspective
As a Christian School we believe that God’s Word is truth and that as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work.” We teach every subject and enjoy weekly chapels from a Biblical Worldview perspective.
A Heart for Service
University Christian School strives to develop a servant’s heart within each student grades K3 through twelfth grade. Participation in community service, charitable giving and mission opportunities, locally and globally, are common on our campus. High school students must maintain yearly community service hours as a requirement for graduation.
