Our focus at University Christian School is to prepare students to fulfill God’s calling on their life. It is always brings a sense of joy when we see our graduates striving to honor God with the gifts and talents he has given them.
As a Christian School we believe that God’s Word is truth and that as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
University Christian School recently unveiled a new partnership with Apple through an Apple Learning Initiative. Students will begin carrying an independently owned Apple iPad2 in place of textbooks in Fall 2012. University Christian is the first school in Northeast Florida and the third school in Florida to implement this iPad program.
For ten years, one of the landmarks of I-95 on the Southside of Jacksonville has been the large American flag that proudly flies on the campus of University Christian School and University Baptist Church. The stars and stripes can be seen from a great distance away, proudly representing the freedom we love and cherish as Americans.
University Christian School strives to develop a servant’s heart within each student grades K3 through twelfth grade. Participation in community service, charitable giving and mission opportunities, both locally and globally, are common on our campus. High school students must maintain yearly community service hours as a requirement for graduation.
