Enjoy Fall Break
UCS students and families will enjoy a much-needed rest during our Fall Break scheduled from October 15th through the 19th. There will be no school nor Extended Day programs on these dates. UCS sports teams will still enjoy scheduled practices and competitions. Please adhere to the schedule provided by your child’s coach for these dates.
Thank you in advance for a great first quarter. Our students have performed well in the classroom and we look forward to returning and implementing further strategies to reach our students. Enjoy Fall Break with your children!
Our focus at University Christian School is to prepare students to fulfill God’s calling on their life. It always brings a sense of joy when we see our graduates striving to honor God with the gifts and talents He has given them.
As a Christian School we believe that God’s Word is truth and that as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
University Christian School strives to develop a servant’s heart within each student grades K3 through twelfth grade. Participation in community service, charitable giving and mission opportunities, locally and globally, are common on our campus. High school students must maintain yearly community service hours as a requirement for graduation.
Over a decade, one of the landmarks of I-95 on the Southside of Jacksonville has been the large American flag that proudly flies on the campus of University Christian School and University Church. The stars and stripes can be seen from a great distance away, proudly representing the freedom we love and cherish as Americans.
