Student Life

Fine Arts

In the beginning, God created the
Heavens and the Earth.
Genesis 1:1

God is the creator of all things and our students have learned to glorify Christ through the creation of art. University Christian students have the opportunity to create such pieces and allow their creativity to shine in Art 2-D, 3-D Art, Advanced Placement Art and Design and/or performing in the Band and Worship Arts.

Art 2-D

begins in lower school as an instructional part of the curriculum. It is continued on as an elective option through the 12th grade. There are a variety of courses that allow God’s talents to shine through. Through our gifted fine arts faculty, our students are challenged to develop their gifts and experience a high level of instruction and success.

Art 3-D

is a technique that is experimented with at a higher level of learning. Students that advance into 3-D Art, have gained a level of expertise to allow them to work towards a portfolio to pursue their talent at the next level.

Worship Arts

is a student led worship team which provides leadership of worship during our weekly chapel services. These students help facilitate the love, worship and praise with the student body of University Christian. Vocally, instrumentally as well as sound and visual engineering is part of this class, giving experience to UC students and allowing them to direct their attention to God and cultivating an atmosphere of true worship.

is an opportunity for UC students to experience a competitive level of instrumental learning and performing. Through passionate leadership, the students in the band are performing at sporting events, special events on campus as well as in a competitive forum throughout the state of Florida. Band opportunities exist in the form of concert band, jazz band, marching band, pep band and the drum line. Contact Mr. Tyler Hardison for more information on our band program at
