UCS Highlights Courage During Black History Month

At UCS, we continue to celebrate our diversity throughout the month of February and turn our attention to the contributions of African Americans during Black History Month! One of the blessings we get to share at University Christian School is the diversity within our student body and all that it affords us as the body of Christ. We believe that this is one of our strengths and provides an opportunity for our students to see how God has made each of us unique, special, and created in His image.

This week we highlight the theme of "COURAGE" and turn our attention toward two great Americans who not only made history for their contributions, but lived (and in Dr. Evans' case continues to live) a courageous life that honors Christ and has made a significant impact on our world. We hope you will enjoy learning and reading more about Dr. Tony Evans and Harriet Tubman this week.
