National Exchange Club Announces the UCS Students of the Year

 The UCS Exchange Club is sponsored by the National Exchange Club whose aim is to promote a strong America, safer communities and unified people. The Jacksonville Chapter of the National Exchange Club hosts the annual Student of the Year competition and selects one senior female and male from each charter school. These students possess significant academic accomplishments and serve and participate in extra-curricular involvement in such a way that they best represent the core values of the National Exchange Club.  
 
Recently, seniors Zyaria Smith and Coast Moyle were named the 2021 National Exchange Club Students of the Year for University Christian School. These two students are exceptional in the classroom and are highly involved in service and extra-curricular opportunities. 
 
Zyaria’s accomplishments and involvements includes:
  • Continued to excel in course work in the UC Honor’s track, maintaining a 4.36 GPA.
  • Member of the Yearbook Staff
  • Serves as a UC Student Ambassador
  • Served as a leader and representative for the Junior class in 2019
  • National Honors Society member
  • Beta Club member  
  • Has been a member of the soccer and tennis teams
  • Currently has over 100 service hours
 
Coast’s accomplishments and involvements include:
  • Continued to excel in course work in the UC Honor’s track, maintaining a 4.07 GPA.
  • Senior Class Treasurer
  • Member of the National Honors Society
  • Member of the Beta Club
  • Participates in football, baseball and concert band
  • Serves as a UC Student Ambassador
  • Currently has earned over 350 service hours
