The mission of University Christian is to lead every student to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, while providing the highest quality Christian education in an environment of genuine love and concern for each student and parent.

Our Tradition
University Christian School began in 1965 as a ministry of University Baptist Church. Opening with one kindergarten class, UCS has grown to partner with families to provide the highest quality Christian education for infants through 12th grade. The first graduating class of University Christian School walked the stage in the spring of 1973. Since then, over 2,500 alumni call UCS “home” and are making an impact in our community and across the globe.
God has richly blessed our school with excellent facilities to serve our students, including state of the art media classrooms, multiple science labs, collaborative learning and sensory learning classrooms, library and media center, computer labs, art facilities, band and choral room, student theatre center, cafeteria, athletic field house, athletic stadiums, synthetic turf fields and gymnasium.
UCS is centrally located in Jacksonville at I-95 and University Boulevard on our15 acre campus. We can be easily spotted by our incredibly large American flag that proudly waves over our campus daily.
UCS is fully accredited academically through ACSI and AdvancEd. We continue to vigorously pursue excellence by providing a Christ-centered education on a campus where patriotism, lifelong community, leadership and service are at the core of all we do. We take great pride in our history of BUILDING CHAMPIONS FOR CHRIST.
